Diagnostic Imaging
X-rays, MRI, CT Scans, Ultrasounds are all forms of imaging tools used to
establish a diagnosis, ascertain problems or document your progress.
Our facility makes use of X-rays, an energy form that is cast through the
body to project a shadow on special film. Because of the sensitivity to
radiation, special care is taken to minimize exposure. For that reason we use:
- High speed film
- Lead shielding to protect sensitive body parts
- Automatic electronic timing
- Special filters to further reduce energy
- State-of-the-art equipment
- Regular inspection and maintenance of equipment
