Can an Apple a Day Keep the Doctor Away?
Can an Apple a Day Keep the Doctor Away?
Nutrients are what the human body utilizes to maintain and build healthy
organs, cells, tissues, bones, etc. Everything that appears in nature has been
provided for our health and almost always in the form that is most beneficial to
us. Proper nutrition is what makes every function of the body possible, mental,
hormonal, enzymatic, metabolic, nervous and physical. Healing can not occur
without good nutrition, vitamins and minerals.
One of today's most common misconceptions is that America is a well-nourished
nation. Malnutrition can stem from an array of sources. Contaminated soil; soil
lacking basic minerals; inappropriate use of chemical fertilizers; improper use
of pesticides, herbicides and fungicides; improper harvesting or food processing
and improper storage.
A government study proved that 99% of the population are deficient in essential vitamins and minerals, and this was published in 1936 ! Demineralization of the soil and mineral deficiencies in humans and animals
have escalated to such a degree that they may have catastrophic effects on
the quality of health.
In the future, we will not be able to rely on anymore on our premise that the
consumption of a varied balanced diet will provide all the essential trace
elements, because such a diet will be very difficult to obtain for millions of
people. - Dr. Walter Mertz, U.S. Dept. of Agriculture, 1977.
Drug Companies Hate Natural Remedies
Drug Companies Hate Natural Remedies
You've Been Brainwashed
A new era began in medicine with the patented synthetic chemicals making the
drug companies very wealthy. Major pharmaceutical companies won't sell anything
they cannot patent, and anything that occurs in nature can't be patented.1
Thus, you won't find these companies marketing something they cannot control.
Medicinal therapy however is very profitable and billions of dollars are
spent on advertising these drugs. A retrospective study recently published in the Journal of the American
Medical Association reviewed 538 studies involving "the relationship between
physicians and the pharmaceutical industry and its representatives, and its
impact on the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of physicians." Ultimately, 29
studies were analyzed and revealed some disturbing results:2
More than $11 billion is spent each year by pharmaceutical companies in
promotion and marketing, $5 billion of which goes to sales representatives," the
study's author pointed out. "It has been estimated that $8,000 to $13,000 is
spent per year on each physician." The 'interactions' between drug company
representatives and medical physicians begin in medical school and continue at a
rate of "about four times per month."
That equates to billions of dollars spent on treating a disease or problem
rather than in preventing it. And because most people judge their health based
on symptoms, this is a serious epidemic. Symptoms are the last warning sign that
something is wrong!
"All the medical research and billions of dollars spent to find cures have
not altered the advance of killer diseases. Perhaps it is because our
soils are still mineral-deficient and our bodies are constantly bombarded with
toxins found in the foods we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we drink. A
body that is not receiving optimum nutrition cannot deal effectively with these
toxins that poison and weaken the immune system. We must look to the full
spectrum of supplementation to prevent aging, disease, and to experience optimum
health." - Tonita d"raye
